Purchase Reports
Traffic collision reports may be obtained online for a nominal fee. Per KRS 189.635, to obtain a copy of a vehicle accident report, you must be a party to the accident, the parent or guardian of a minor who is a party to the accident, insurers of any party who is the subject of the report, or an attorney of the parties.
Paper copies of traffic collision reports may still be obtained by appearing in person at the Shepherdsville Police Department.
House Watch Program
The House Watch program was developed by the Shepherdsville Police Department designed to provide peace of mind to Shepherdsville residents while they are away from home for extended periods of time. Employees of the Shepherdsville Police Department will physically check each registered house during a resident’s absence for up to 14 calendar days. Information provided by the resident makes it possible to contact them, or their designated key holder, in the event that the residence may need attention.
The House Watch Program provides an overall increase in police presence around homes during a resident’s time away. Note: The house watch program excludes apartments and/or condominiums.
