Honoring Heroes: The Traveling Wall Comes to Shepherdsville

The City of Shepherdsville, in collaboration with AVTT & Warrior Rounds, is thrilled to announce that The Vietnam Wall and the Cost of Freedom Tribute will be coming to Shepherdsville from July 25th to July 30th, 2024. This poignant display will be hosted in the serene setting of the Shepherdsville City Park, providing an opportunity for our community to come together to remember, honor, and pay respect to the brave souls who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

The Traveling Wall is a powerful symbol of remembrance, bearing the names of over 58,000 individuals who lost their lives during the Vietnam War. It serves as a tribute to the valor and sacrifice of those who served in that conflict. This solemn memorial provides a unique experience for veterans, families, and community members to connect with our nation’s history and acknowledge the incredible service and devotion of those who served.
