Public Works Foreman Position

**Now Hiring: Public Works Foreman**

**Position Overview: ** 

We are looking for a dedicated individual to fill the role of Public Works Foreman. This leadership position reports directly to the Public Works Director and is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Shepherdsville Public Works Department.

**Key Responsibilities: ** 

– Collaborate with the Public Works Director in project planning and development.

– Assist in establishing and implementing policies and procedures for the Public Works Department.

– Develop a comprehensive maintenance schedule that includes mowing, pesticide application, facility and equipment repairs, as well as preventative maintenance of roadways and more.

– Help with the development and management of the departmental operating budget. – Make recommendations regarding hiring, termination, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.

**Compensation and Benefits: ** 

• Hourly pay range: $29 to $42 per hour.
• Eligibility to enroll in medical, dental, and/or vision plans.
• Various benefit coverages, including life insurance, short-term, and long-term disability plans.
• Enrollment in the Kentucky Authority Pension Plan.
• Paid time off (PTO) and company-funded holidays.
