Code Enforcement

The City of Shepherdsville’s Code Enforcement Officer has many responsibilities. The most important one is promoting a healthy, safe, and livable community for all. Daily, the Code Enforcement Officer will conduct site inspections, investigate complaints from the public, and work with property owners to resolve any violations. This involves explaining the specific requirements, discussing solutions, and monitoring progress until compliance is achieved. Additionally, the Code Enforcement Officer keeps accurate records, prepares reports, and communicates with other departments to coordinate efforts. Our Code Enforcement Officer believes that everyone deserves to live in a safe and attractive environment and is committed to making a positive difference in our community.
